1. Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone More Often Than You Should.

I know it’s hard bla bla bla.. Actually it’s not that hard, you just have to do it. Take that extra step and you will see how much better you feel. Take that baby step and work your way up.

2. Do What You Want More Often Than You Should. (Say What You Want)

How can you build up your confidence by doing what others want? To constantly do what others want is sick and wrong. Be your own Boss and do the things you love. You deserve it.

3. Every Night Before Bed..

Write down the best 3 experiences you had that day. This trains you to focus more on the positive. The more your focus is on the positive, the more confident you will be.

10 Essentials for Living a More Beautiful & Confident Life (3 min read)

1. Appreciate others

As your confidence grows, help others grow their self-esteem. Helping others feel great will have the same effect on you.

If a co-worker turns in a great project, tell him or her and mean it. Do you have a friend that always does kind things for you? Thank the person.

Read: Want to Live a More Beautiful Life…? Here’s What You Need!

Is your family always there for you? Tell them how much you appreciate their support, and return that support.

2. Learn how to accept praise

It is OK to receive a compliment. No matter how large or how small the compliment is, say thank you.

Do not brush praise off. Accept it, own it, and realize that you are worthy of the compliment. This is tough, especially after years of not accepting. With practice, form a new habit of thankfully, and gracefully, acknowledging your admirers.

3. Read. Read. Then go read some more

Nothing inspires others or instills confidence in oneself more than knowledge. You do not have to know everything about everything, but having a wide base of awareness of the world around you is a boost to your self-worth.

4. Try new things

How does trying new things build confidence? It doesn’t. The decision to try that new thing and follow through with it does. Challenge yourself to try something new at least once a month. For you extreme confidence builders, make it once a week.

5. Get healthy

Living a healthy lifestyle has an everlasting impact on your confidence. This is not about how you look, although yes, that does help your self-esteem. It is about feeling good, making the right choices, and being confident in your life.

Read: How to Get Your Confidence Back in 5 Minutes or Less

6. Surround yourself with support

Is there a life sucker in your world? You know, that one negative friend or family member that brings you down just by being around him or her?

Distance yourself from such a person. Surround yourself with those who make you feel good about yourself. Yes, this is hard. It will be the hardest thing on this list to accomplish.

Don’t know people that make you feel good? Find them. (See No. 4.) No matter how much faith you have in yourself, the friend that isn’t really your friend will destroy that confidence. Move on from that chapter in your life, and make a new, confident future for yourself.

7. Dance

Seriously, just dance, even if you do not know how. Turn the music up, and let it go. In your living room or in your bedroom, even in the middle of the, gasp, grocery store.

You can take this literally or figuratively. The goal is to be yourself. Always. Do not be afraid to let your personality shine. Be confident in who you are, and let the world around you see that person.

8. Jazz up your wardrobe

Do you have a closet full of T-shirts and jeans? Is everything in your closet the same color of black?

Try a couple of new clothing items to go with what you already have. For those on a budget, this only takes a few good, quality items.

A new sport coat, a brightly colored top that looks good on you, even a new tie or statement necklace will change the way you see yourself.

If you aren’t sure what looks good on you, ask a friend or a co-worker to help you out. There is no shame in being fashion backward. Simple changes in your outward appearance not only make you feel better about yourself, but they also change the way others perceive you.

9. Ask for extra work

What?? Yes, request extra work. This will challenge you to do your best. Completing this work will build your confidence in your abilities. Your supervisors will notice your initiative and reward it.

This will also build your courage. Often, extra work exposes you to people in your company you haven’t worked with before.

Remember, when praised, accept it gracefully.

10. Take stock

Write down or type everything you are good at. Be sure to list any item you can think of, even if it does not apply to your current job. For example, you may make the best chicken soup known to mankind. Write it down.

The Advantages of Traveling Alone (3 min read)

Written by Millionaire’s Digest Writer: Ferry Van Oossanen

I know that there is many people out there that regularly think about taking a long trip far away. There is always those doubts tho. What will my family think, how do I get enough money to do so, will I be able to find a job when I come back. I want to talk to you about the life advantages of travelling.

1. Ultimate freedom.

When you first take the decision to travel you will probably feel a fear that you have never felt before. I can promise you the moment you have packed your backpack and you walk out your house this fear will change into the greatest feeling of freedom you have ever experienced. There is nothing and nobody stopping you from doing anything that comes up in your mind.

  • If you want to stay somewhere for a month, YOU CAN.
  • If you want to leave a place after a day, YOU CAN.
  • If you want to go bungee jumping, YOU CAN
  • If you want to meet 1.000 new people, YOU CAN
  • If you want to spend a week completely alone, YOU CAN
  • If you want to party every day, YOU CAN
  • If you want to never drink again, YOU CAN
  • If you want to live of the streets, YOU CAN
  • Whatever you want to do, nobody is going to stop you!

2. You can easily change things you don’t like about yourself.

I sort of said it already in the last part but this is an important aspect as well. A lot of the things you do on a daily basis you do because you are expected to do them. You do them because you have always done them like that and if you change now people will think you are strange. Even if people will not think you are strange there is always the fear of people thinking that or just simply the habit of doing certain things.

A smoker for example often smokes with certain friends and in certain situations. The hardest moments for many people who want to stop smoking is being around their smoking friends. You can now find non-smoking friends.

If you want to stop drinking, you can now stop drinking. There is not going to be pressure from people around you. People will think you have always been like that and they will accept it. There is absolutely no pressure.

Anything you want to change you can change the moment you leave, your new friends will just think that is who you are and accept it. When you come back your old friends will think the travelling changed you and be happy for the good influence your trip has had on you.

3. Opportunity to meet new friends.

Meeting new friends from all over the world is the most eye opening thing you can do. It might be a little hard at first to put aside your programmed ideas, but eventually you will realize a lot of things are not the way you think they are.

A lot of our ideas and opinions are influenced by news reports and television shows and even if we don’t want it they form a bit part of what we think and say. I can proudly say going down my Facebook list I have friends from over 50 different countries. Many times in conversations and discussions in international groups I realized that my opinions changed about certain places.

4. Find new places you love!

Travelling around the world I found a new place that I love more than my home country and ended up staying there. It is an incredible thing that be somewhere and realize that that is where you want to be. To feel like this is where you should be staying, I don’t know if this feeling will change again eventually. For now I am very happy in my new place and you as well can do this.

All and all travelling is the most beautiful thing you can do it expands your mind. It makes you happy and grateful to be alive every day. So Go!!! Go and explore! It is worth it!

How to Flip Those 20% Blog Scrollers into 80% Addictive Readers (1 min read)

1. Trust

Your goal is to inform, help and inspire your audience. If you overplay the headline, your audience will feel misled and skeptical of your next headline. Be useful, and never waste your reader’s time.

2. Context

Tell your readers what’s in it for them. For example, saying “Things to Consider Before a Business Launch” is vague and uninspiring, but replacing it with “9 Things I Wish I Knew Before I Launched My Last Business” captivates. Another tip: place the reader into a headline. “14 Kinds of Pumpkins to Grow” offers little, but “7 Kinds of Pumpkins You Can Grow on a City Balcony” speaks to a target audience.

Read: Getting Readers to Actually “Read” Your Blog Posts Rather Than “Like” It

3. Curiosity

There’s a sweet spot in headlines: It’s called the “curiosity gap,” when you’ve made the a reader curious enough to click and read. (Consider the pumpkins on a city balcony. Don’t you want to know what they are?) But don’t toy with readers. A headline that says “This One Simple Trick Saved My Business” might as well say “I’m Desperate For You To Click.”

Read: Can’t Get Reader’s to Come Back to Your Blog?

4. Clarity

Be direct, simple and tight. Your headline should have fewer than 70 characters — half a tweet. Longer headlines may get truncated in search results and social shares. A good way to see what works: watch how your headlines do on social media and study what the best-read ones have in common.

Teachers-to-GO! Searched for the best study hacks for effective studying. These study tips remind you not to study hard, but study intelligently.

1. Do a little physical exercise before your exam.

A 20-minute exercise can help you improve your performance during the exam. Exercising can boost memory and brain power.

2. Sleepy? Study.

Our brain strengthens new memories during sleep. So reviewing your notes before sleeping gives you a higher chance of remembering it the next day.

3. Find a good place to study.

If you are in a place where there are too many distractions, you will not be able to study effectively. Find a place that is conducive for learning.

4. Say it out loud.

Reading your notes loudly helps you remember something easier. Just don’t do this in the library or in crowded places.

5. Rewrite it.

If you’re in a library, rewriting is a better choice than reviewing out loud. Don’t rewrite everything; outlines are enough along with some important details.

6. Pamper yourself.

Knowing there’s a sweet treat at the end of your studying; you’ll be encouraged to do more and do better.

7. Take a break.

Rest your brain every once in a while. Breaks can boost your productivity and improve your ability to focus.

8. Find your timeframe.

Some people are better at remembering things when they have just woken up, early in the morning. While some prefer night, discern what’s yours and do it.

How to Network like a Millionaire! (2 min read)

1. Write a Book

Publishing a book gives you the ultimate credential. Plus, you never know who will be reading it. Imagine handing hundreds of people your book when they ask for a business card. If you have a good idea in your book, people will call you and find a way to help you, especially if it helps them solve their problems.

2. Publish Articles

By writing articles, you have the ability to attract thousands or millions to yourself, instead of chasing them down. Plus, it’s easier to have people reach out to you, especially if you gave them what they wanted.

Read: Making Your First Million is Easy – If You Follow These 5 Steps

3. Give Speeches

Public speaking is a highly underrated form of networking. This is probably because many people have glossophobia, which is the fear of public speaking. Nonetheless, you can reach more by using this medium to exchange your ideas.

If you’re in business, you have the ability to sell your products and services to a wide variety of people. What’s more amazing is that there are thousands of meetings going on right now and many of them don’t have speakers. If you gave a few speeches per month, your chances of success go up substantially.

Read: How to Make Yourself Look Like a Millionaire (Infographic)

4. Connect People

Zig Ziglar once said, “If you help enough people get what they want, you will get what you want.” Connecting people is a great way to set up a community full of people who are all engaged and interactive with your content.

5. Follow Up

It is futile to meet people and not follow up with them. In fact, you might want to go the extra mile by sending them a personal thank-you note. We are creatures who love to cooperate with each other. Often, people forget that they said certain things at a particular event, and it’s your duty to remind them.

If you can follow up in a tactful and diplomatic way, you’ll get to reach the echelons of success. The fortune is in the follow-up.

+Bonus: Philanthropy

Once people find out that you’re a donor, you’ll make a lot of friends. Everyone likes people who give money. You don’t have to go around waving a check for your contribution, but you do want people to acknowledge that you are a giver. The secret of living is giving.

Having money does attract all kinds of people, good and bad. However, you should have the discernment that goes along with being wealthy. Make sure that your philanthropy has a long-lasting impact and will help more people. You should always know where your money is going.
